South Newton High School

We are proud to announce that our HS and MS counseling teams have been awarded the Indiana Gold Star School Counseling Award presented by the Indiana Department of Education!  Mrs. Robbins and Ms. Barrett have earned this award by participating in the Carrying the Torch to Student Success comprehensive school counseling program.  This award highlights the hours of work completed by both in designing a vision-based and data-driven comprehensive school counseling program that meets the academic, college and career, and well-being needs of our students.  Receiving this award also qualifies our schools to be a recipient of RAMP (Recognized ASCA Model Program) award. We are proud of Mrs. Robbins and Ms. Barrett for attaining this award.  Congratulations to both of them!
