The middle school volleyball match vs North White will be played at the Elementary School tomorrow at 5:00 pm CST.

Shout out to Ms. Pizano and her English 4 students, Joe Parsons, Delaney Hershberger, and Alina Baez. They prepared a presentation about the school and the staff for our Spanish-speaking community members last night and led them on tours of the building. There were about 15-20 people in total here last night, and it was great to see our students communicating in Spanish with those community members, many of whom have been working on their English skills with Ms. Pizano and Marihida Kindig via a program sponsored by the Brook Library.
On Monday, the Freshman volleyball team will play Benton Central in the auxiliary gym and the JV & Varsity will play in the main gym beginning at 5:00 pm CST.

The MS Cross Country meet vs Attica has been changed to a 5:30 pm CST start time.
The 7/8 grade football game tonight vs Tri-County has been cancelled .
This group of Juniors & Seniors spent the last two days at Camp Tecumseh serving as Student Leaders for the South Newton 5th grade class trip! They did an amazing job!
We have rescheduled the Demotte Christian volleyball game to 9/28. JV will start at 10:00 am followed by the varsity. Go Rebels!
Please take note that on Monday the MS volleyball games will be played in Brookston.

This is the first year that the IHSAA has sanctioned girls wrestling. South Newton is excited to be starting a girls program this year! If you are interested in joining the wrestling team contact Coach Bell.
