Congratulations to South Newton HS and the varsity volleyball program on earning the IHSVCA Team Academic Award. Of the more than 400 high schools in Indiana, only 63 earned this prestigious team award. Congratulations, Coach Robbins, for putting the STUDENT in student-athlete!

On Friday, South Newton students toured AdKev in Goodland, Indiana, where they learned about the mold injection company. Pictured with the students is Mr. Rheude, owner and president of the company.

Today, South Newton students learned about the local water bottling production at Premium Waters in Kentland, where they toured the facility, received a forklift demonstration, and learned about water testing procedures.

Attention all Class of 2026 Students!

On Monday, a group of SN high school boys in Mrs. Vena's Summer Experiences class had the opportunity to visit Ivy Tech, where they received a tour of the campus, along with personal tours of the HVAC and IT facilities led by staff instructors. They were also able to sit in on one of Ivy Tech's lecture halls. Students making the trip were Ilvis Vazquez-Ramos, Tobias Schroll, Eddy Cornejo, Noah Peterson, and Manuel Orellana.




These glasses were found in Miss Pizzano's classroom. Please stop by the HS office to claim them.

Today we celebrated two South Newton family members and their retirements! Kim Cripe has taught at South Newton Schools for 39 years, and Ed Ekstrom has been with the district for 49 years! Congratulations to both of you on your retirements!
