This is the first year that the IHSAA has sanctioned girls wrestling. South Newton is excited to be starting a girls program this year! If you are interested in joining the wrestling team contact Coach Bell.

On Saturday September 21st at 6:00pm, Newton County Coroner's Office is hosting a suicide awarness walk at the Newton County Fairgrounds.

HS Bulletin
South Newton Rebels baseball will be having the first open "gym" at the Goodland baseball field this week! It will be a short practice this Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. CST This practice is open to all high school students interested in playing baseball in the spring! Go Rebels!
The 6th grade volleyball game at North White on Thursday will be played at the Elementary School This building is located across the highway from the high school.
Please wear yellow on Tuesday, September 10th.
Friday's varsity football game @ North Newton will be military appreciation night. If you have a family member that you would like to have announced please send their information to Chris Bell @ bellc@newton.k12.in.us

HS Bulletin
Friday is our annual Homecoming game! We will be playing Benton Central for the first time in the regular season in decades. We will introduce the members of the court and crown the princes and princesses for each grade level as well as the king and queen starting at 6pm CST. The football game will begin at 6:30pm CST. The marching band will perform at halftime. Cost of entry is $6 for an individual and $18 for a family.
