Hey Students!
Like Speech & Debate? On a speech team, taking the class, or just like public speaking? Want to earn some prize money? Better yet, represent our state in the national competition at Hillsdale College in May 2027, and, if you're the best, win over $20,000!
The American Legion Oratorical Competition is a Constitutional Speech contest consisting of two speeches. First, an 8-10 minute prepared oration on an Article or other excerpt from our Constitution. The other is a 3-5 minute speech on three potential 'Assigned Topics'.
