South Newton School Corporation will honor all Veterans during our Veterans Day Ceremony at 9 am (CST) on Wednesday, November 11th. We encourage all Veterans and community members to attend along with our students and staff to show our gratefulness for all of the Veterans who have served. Doors 4 and 5 will both be open for the event, which will be held in the Main Gym. Our guest speaker will be Major Charles V. Meade, South Newton High School Class of 1969.

The high school Student Council will once again have doughnuts and coffee with Veterans at 8:30 am (CDT) in the high school cafeteria. We welcome all Veterans to attend this pre-ceremony gathering to catch up with one another and converse with our high school students.

Veterans may RSVP by emailing Mr. Josef Keller at kellerj@newton.k12.in.us or calling 219-474-5167 ext. 1153, but an RSVP is not required.
